PMRF Teaching Assistantship Delivarables

1. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2021-2022

   Number of hours spent for TAship in own Granting Institute: 36 hours 

   Place of work: Mass Transfer Laboratory in the Spring Semester of 2021-2022

   Nature of work: Creating a presentation for demonstration of the specific experiment on the topic of ‘Studies on Drying of Granular Solid in a Rotary Drier’, solving doubts faced by individual student, helping them carry out the calculations and visualization of the experiments and helped in the checking of lab manuals of the same. The class size was of 53 students.

2. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2021-2022

   Number of hours spent for TAship in other than own Granting Institute: 24 hours 

   Place of work: NPTEL Transport Phenomena course during the Spring Semester of 2021-2022

   Nature of work: Creating a question bank for a number of topics including Boundary layer, Navier-Stokes, Bernoulli’s and analogies in heat, mass and fluid and helped in the checking of answer-scripts of the same. The answer scripts were of students with a class size of more than 100 students.

3. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Number of hours spent for TAship in own Granting Institute: 48 hours 

   Place of work: Mass Transfer Laboratory in the Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Nature of work: Live demonstration of the specific experiment on the topic of ‘Studies on Drying of Granular Solid in a Rotary Drier’, solving doubts faced by individual student, helping them carry out the calculations and visualization of the experiments and helped in the checking of lab manuals of the same. The class size was of more than 70 students.

4. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Place of work: Transport phenomena in the Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Nature of work: Taking exams and class tests, checking answer scripts and preparing questions.

   

5. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Number of hours spent for TAship in other than own Granting Institute: 24 hours 

   Place of work: NPTEL Transport Phenomena course during the Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Nature of work: NPTEL Regular TA for Transport Phenomena 2022-2023. Creating assignment question bank for a number of topics including Boundary layer, Navier-Stokes, Bernoulli’s and analogies in heat, mass and fluid and helped in the checking of answer-scripts of the same. The answer scripts were of students with a class size of 290 students.

6. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Place of work: NPTEL Transport Phenomena course during the Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Nature of work: NPTEL PMRF TA for Transport Phenomena 2022-2023. Weekly discussion and problem solving sessions were taken for a class of 290 students.

7. Quarter: Autumn and Spring Semester of 2022-2023

   Number of hours spent for TAship in other than own Granting Institute: 40 hours 

   Place of work: Fluid Mechanics course at University of Calcutta during the Spring Semester of 2022-2023. The course Instructor is Prof. Debashish Sarkar.

   Nature of work: Weekly discussion and problem solving sessions were taken for a class of more than 100 students.

8. Quarter: Autumn Semester of 2023-2024

   Number of hours spent for TAship in other than own Granting Institute: 26 hours 

   Place of work: NPTEL Heat Transfer course during the Autumn Semester of 2023-2024

   Nature of work: NPTEL PMRF TA for Heat Transfer 2023-2024. Weekly discussion and problem solving sessions were taken for a class of 1100 students.

9. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2023-2024

   Number of hours spent for TAship in other than own Granting Institute: 24 hours 

   Place of work: NPTEL Introduction to Fluid Mechanics course during the Spring Semester of 2023-2024

   Nature of work: NPTEL PMRF TA for Introduction to Fluid Mechanics 2023-2024. Weekly discussion and problem solving sessions were taken for a class of 1950 students.

10. Quarter: Spring Semester of 2023-2024

   Number of hours spent for TAship in other than own Granting Institute: 25 hours 

   Place of work:  SCIENCE FOR RURAL INDIA, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru for Physics course during the Spring Semester of 2023-2024. 

   Nature of work: Weekly discussion and problem solving sessions were taken for a class of more than 50 students. The classes were on the topic of Poles of Magnet.

   Number of hours spent for TAship in own Granting Institute: 48 hours 

   Place of work: Mass Transfer Laboratory in the Spring Semester of 2022-2023
